"For years and years I have suffered with anxiety and also the occasional panic attack making an appearance, and it is something I’ve just felt I need to accept, it’s just the way it is and is something I have to live with.
When I heard about this therapy I was intrigued, Meg explained beautifully how and what the therapy has to offer and how using different techniques can help to disassociate sometimes powerful/imbedded emotions/trauma from the body.
This treatment tapped into events that I had buried deep and talking or even just thinking resonated a sensation of anxiety and I could almost pinpoint exactly whereabouts the feeling was presenting in my body, techniques were used to dilute the emotion, so for me I felt an 8 out of 10 of anxiety and following the methods Meg used it quickly dropped down to a 3 or 4, then another technique was used and again the sensation dropped, this time to a 0. When going over and discussing the event again, that powerful emotion that was attached before - wasn’t there, not a thing.
Honestly I can’t explain how incredibly powerful this treatment is, I physically felt different- I entered slightly guarded, anxious and doubtful- and I left feeling lighter physically and emotionally- even talking back over the event that once resonated this feeling, left me grinning & I literally couldn’t help just smiling when I was talking about it- the feeling/sensation had gone.
I haven’t felt this sensation of neutral/content & just being - in a long time - the best way to put it is I am feeling a lightness & fuzzy warmth.
Another thing what I loved about the treatment is that it is customer led and not steered off to an avenue by the therapist, so you are in total control- which for me made me feel really safe.
I know I will have more sessions as I believe people can be like onions 😊, and have many layers & sometimes more layer need to be peeled in order to feel the best we possibly can.
I have to say this experience was like nothing I’ve encountered before.
One session with Meg, and I feel that just returned from a holiday feeling, rested and renewed.
